Blooming marvellous

Mr A spied this bloom yesterday, so I had to blip it; it’s stunning!
No doubt I’ll take a few more pics as it unfurls, that’s my EFB’s sorted for the next week.

I’m also feeling in the pink today. I needed to get a new passport in my married name for our holiday in June. I applied at the end of February, thinking that would be plenty of time. It’s still not arrived and it’s only 3 weeks until we go.

I’ve been trying in vain to speak to someone and was up to attempt #23 at lunchtime (no exaggeration!!), when a very nice lady from Durham passport office called me!

She said they were all too aware of the issues people were having trying to get through on the phones, so she was ringing to tell me my application has been processed, was being posted this weekend and I will have it in 7-10 days max.

I’ve not been able to get excited about our trip as I’ve been worried sick that my passport wouldn’t arrive in time.

So with a huge sigh of relief, I can start packing planning :-)
