A Bee On A Bonnet

Apart from Tess having Keep Fat this morning we’ve had a quiet domestic day: some food shopping this morning and pottering in the garden this afternoon, Tess doing more planting, me putting up some solar lights.

We were visited by a very tame young female blackbird, who seems to have adopted us and this bee who was working its way around the  aquilegia (or Granny’s Bonnet as it’s also known).

Tess received a letter from the NHS this morning, arranging a phone consultation following her osteoporosis scan last  week. While pleased to get the consultation, she was not so amused to see that it was from the “Care Of The Older Person” Department!
