Cuckoo cuckoo cuckoo!

We had a lovely walk up Frozen Valley this afternoon, and were delighted by the sight and sound of cuckoos! Three of them, including a female, really close by and chasing each other. The valley is really developing some rough ground and the trees are regrowing. Such a wonderful place.
In extra, another little commission for Gilly, who needs a shrug to match Wendy’s! I’m already enjoying it, it’s very restful doing crochet as you have to keep counting in your head!
