Oranges and lemons

I ordered a box of navel oranges and lemons direct from the growers in Spain, through Crowdfarming. The growers receive a good price and because their is no requirement to throw out odd shapes or to wax everything the price to us buyers is good too. At the moment these farmers are being offered 9 pence per kilo by the big buyers, that’s an insult to all their hard work and a massive markup by the supermarkets.
I will enjoy every one! The are grown organically so we shall have some squeezed for breakfast and I will make some delicious marmalade too.
