Loud & Proud

If you compare this photo with yesterday’s you’ll learn that my door windows are now clean! We have several bluejays and their noisier than usual right now, chasing each other through the yard high up into the trees. I assume it’s mating season by all the raucous behavior. The black bridal across their face, nape and throat varies widely. It’s how they identify one another :) • Today we paid for all of the materials to upgrade the shed! Another step closer to finally finishing the outside of the building. Our contractor is estimating mid-August to early September as a start date. We’re very excited but also wary of wishing our summer away • Best bumper sticker of the day: Human Change not Climate Change • Two tulips opened today!! Yay!!
