Monday is related to the moon. In Nordic areas Mani’ means moon • If you’re a fan of the Godfather films you know that oranges predict something bad is about to happen, possibly even death, but I promise that is not the case here. This is just an orange, the largest of citrus fruits. I put them out to signal passing Orioles to stop in for a snack so you can imagine how thrilled I was to find Puffy Tufty checking one out ( through a dirty window). I think a curious hummingbird may have done the same but it happened too quickly to know for sure • A gorgeous day despite another cool start, likely the last one of the season because the rest of the week looks very summer-like • We planted radish seeds in one of the raised beds; bought a few more 56 lb. bags of potting mix in preparation for the flowers and veggies we prefer growing in pots • We also visited three spots on the river while we were out.
