Early Bird

In 1670 the Englishman and Naturalist John Ray published “Handbook of Proverbs”. It’s the first record of the all familiar phrase: “the early bird catches the worm” • But what does it mean? • Early bird diners get lower meal prices; early arrivals are most successful as they get the best selection and the best deals; and early risers seize the day’s opportunities, able to maximize their time • It seems Night Owls and Procrastinators don’t have a chance.
