No.1 messaged first thing to say she was in the office today and did I fancy a chat on her way to the tube? I was still in bed but got changed, grabbed earphones and was out in ten! We have always chatted in the morning and when I was working I had half an hour in the car while she was walking. Different times now and she works from home two or three days each week. We chatted in segments (break for the tube) then chatted on her walk to the office.

I did my normal circuit and spotted this horse with his fly screen ( looking a bit ridiculous). I had intended to go to the gym and swim but after yesterday’s rain the garden was perfect for weeding so swim was postponed. I had managed to get a last minute appointment to get my nails redone before holiday next week. So that’s hands toes and eyebrows. When did I turn into this ‘high maintenance’ person!

Finished off my book over a cup of tea and a couple of digestive biscuits before walking down to vote. Good day again.
