Goodbye for Now

Before leaving Cayucos and the Central Coast this morning, we drove to the library to drop-off the DVDs and CDs we had borrowed and then drove to the shore to take one last look at the pier, the waves, and a quick glance north (which is this photo).

The drive home is about 4 hours, so we didn't dilly-dally; we headed for the Highway #1 South through San Luis Obispo to the #101 Freeway South toward Los Angeles and then we'd turn eastward on the #210 Freeway.

It's been a long day. We were thankful, though, for a lovely spring break vacation.
