Ragged Point Resort
Ragged Point at the southern end of the Big Sur Coast is always on our list of places to visit while we're here on the Central Coast.
Because the three pups had a 9:00 a.m. appointment with the Lesa the groomer, we had a "free" day without worry about pups in a hot car. A day trip north to Ragged Point was our plan.
The coast was beautiful with pockets of fog and patches of sun paintning the pavement as we motored along.
Breakfast was delicious. The ambience was nourshing. Our time together was a pleasure as we talked and wondered and dreamed about the future while enjoying the moment. Then we walked throughout the resort taking photos and admiring everything about the place.
As we traveled south back toward Cayucos, we detoured in the artist community of Cambria and eventually arrived back in Cayucos at the public library to look for used CDs, magazines, and maybe books and to connect our laptops to the Internet for a few minutes.
Late in the day we heard from the groomer that she had had lots of interruptions because there was a dead seal on the mearby sand and people were coming by to get get their dogs wiped clean after touching it. So our dogs stayed in the groomer's shop till late in the day because of the delays. Once we did get them, they were lovely clean and the two Shihtzus had summer cuts and we'd had a whole day without dogs. Nice!
That's it for this Tuesday!
