Coot chicks Queens Park
I found my sun hat this morning so that was a very positive start to the day. I had no twinges at challenging yoga, although I did take a precautionary ibuprofen with my breakfast coffee, and managed most of the poses. A satisfactory visit to see R followed by a trip to M&S to replenish my supply of Sicilian lemon curd ice cream, dangerously moreish.
The weather improved immeasurably after lunch and I went to the library, sorted out my euros at the post office and went to Queens Park to see if there was any progress on the cygnet front. The swan is still sitting tight, however I did catch a blip of the coot chicks who were perilously close to the pond wall. The water is really that colour, I don’t suppose they mind.
And then, as has become the routine on Tuesdays, l entertained Liv while Granny Peebles had a bit of a rest and made supper. They had both been to The Burrell Collection earlier in the day and Liv had apparently enjoyed looking at the tapestries, which has hopefully neutralised the effects of Cocomelon, I think it is, on childrens TV. The extra is Liv eating pasta in the Italian fashion.
