Brian's Jaguar
A cloudy day, with sunny spells, and the odd shower. A cold wind from the north, flat calm tonight.
Another day off, and slept well. Finally got up and going, and spent the morning in the garden and greenhouse. I nipped by Madeline's after lunch. Popped down to mam's this afternoon, but no one home, me and Sammy still had a walk, and then up to Laura's for a cuppa. More re-potting plants in the greenhouse this evening, and then back to Madeline's, big Brian was needing a hand with the car. Final walkies with Sammy, now feet up.
Big Brian (Smith) has been busy with his 1953 Jaguar XK140. It's been a long-term project, a kit car built from scratch. He's recently had it sprayed silver, and now needs to find someone to finish the interior leather trimmings. With the Shetland Classic Car Show returning this summer, this is the final push to get it ready in time. I could easily see me and Sammy cruising around in this beast. Taken at Berry Road, Scalloway.
