Trees Greening Up
A cloudy start, sunny in the afternoon, and then misty to the south end this evening. Fairly breezy all day.
I had a really good night out last night, ended up in Lerwick, home after 3am. I've certainly paid for it today! It's been a very lazy morning around the house, mostly suffering on the sofa. Sammy's demands finally won, and we headed out walkies. Puttered about the garden and greenhouse in the afternoon. A busy evening working in the shop. Back to the sofa tonight!
This bright and warm afternoon has certainly helped all the plants, including the trees. These horse chestnuts always seem to be the first trees to come into bloom in Shetland, and often the case, the winds pick up and burn them! Hopefully they'll get good growth, before any gales arrive. Taken on Hillside Road, Scalloway.
