Thatchered roof!

Didn't intend to take a picture of a thatched roof on the day Mrs Thatcher was laid to rest.

Up early doors and off out on the road at 7.30am for a long drive to Odell, Bedford, via Tamworth, for a meeting,

A good drive down, there by 10.30am. Beautiful little villages on the way, lots of thatched cottages, very picturesque and quaint.

Good meeting and a nice lunch. Set back home after 2 and made good time back home for 5pm, traffic on the m1 was bliss, just hit it right!

Picked pete up and went straight out for a wander up to watnall woods and back, a nice 1 1/2 hours walk.

Still stuffed from lunch, had a cuppa and some cheese and crackers for tea. Catching up on tele now, watching the wind outside sweep clouds across a burning sunset.
