Spring has sprung!
mammoth nights sleep...that's the horlicks effect! up at 6am, and off for a walk with Pete, and a cuppa. a beautiful morning, gorgeous blue sky...thoughts of a few days in the IOM and Guernsey in the next couple of weeks come to mind - hope the blue skies are there!
caught a later train to Birmingham today. A good day there, and a nice lunch out with my new team too. Really warm walking back to Snowhill, spring has certainly sprung. the afternoon flew by, and i caught the 4.30pm train back. nearly had the roof down on the way home, but had calls to make and it was quite windy!
Steak diane and chips for tea, and quickly popped to mums to see Greggy, but missed him by a minute :(
took Pete out for a wander, a lovely lovely evening, and the sun due to set 8.06pm, i set out to try and capture it. didn't get as far as i wanted, but still pleased i turned by camera to monochrome, and captured this (added the tint when i got back).
on the way home, a lady stopped me as we were walking by Greasley Sports Centre, she made a fuss of Pete. She asked if i was going to the dog obediance lessons there! (i didn't know they did them!). she also mentioned there's a wine circle!!! 3rd Tuesday of the month....it's on the calendar!
home, and a few bits of charity work done, budgets.
just watching the news now, and so awful the Boston bombings. an 8 year old boy waiting to see his dad pass the finish line...it's so sad. thank goodness that the evil people who do such awful things like this are in the minority.
