Repurposed

Regular Parkrunners at Myrtle were saddened when this magnificent tree had to go, so what a smashing surprise this morning when Bev and I walked through early doors to set up the course.  The huge stump has been carved in to a fairy house with the most beautiful hare on its reverse.  I'm sure it will be much visited by local children and their families.

Meanwhile, we had the first real warm Parkrun of the year with lots of sunshine and good cheer.  It really was a very pleasant couple of hours with new faces, folks moving on from Couch25k successfully, walkers enjoying the sun on their faces.  Love it.
