The First

Turn away now if you are fed up of me going on about yellow rattle but this morning I met another woman with the same obsession.  I was out early peering at the mini meadow when she came by on the footpath and paused to comment on the wildflowers emerging.  Half an hour later and much more peering at the growing yellow rattle, she left  with a plant plug knowing she could now identify it in her wildflower patch!  I'm not the only bonkers one in the mini meadow universe it seems.

The only other news from the mini meadow is the emergence of the first flower, this tiny pretty pink campion, hopefully one of many.
