2022 — Friday’s Flowers
The pups seldom get to trot out into the way back of our back yard. I had just been in our fenced front yard with them and I was realizing that I probably didn't have one quality photo for today. Oops!
From our bedroom window, I had seen some of our neighbor's flowers creeping through the fence. I knew the pups would be delighted to head out there with me and they were. Mitzi is in a full run in the photo. She had just been to the chain link fence where the barbecue sits. She turned around and just "flew" toward me. I just happened to capture the moment.
I finally got some paperwork done today. The stack of mail here is always somewhat overwhelming when we get back after a bit of time on the coast. I also did a little bit of vacuuming today (a chore I loved to do when I was a little girl; but the magic of it no longer exists).
Finally, today begins our month-long celebration of our wedding anniversary. We celebrate the 29th of every month, but May 29 is the main event. If we make it another month, we will complete 57 years of marriage. We were 15 and 19 when we got married in 1965. We were young enough to believe we could be successful and too young to care about the odds. We were told our chances were a million to one. Now we understand what it means to be one in a million. God has blessed us beyond measure.
Good night from SoCal,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
