2022 Saturday — Shopping
Our daughter knows we are looking for a new microwave oven that will replace the old one that sits inside the shelf of our pantry. Our plan was to search for one at the appliance store where we purchased all the appliances for our kitchen 4-years ago (actually September 2018) when we settled back into our current home, which we had rented out for 24 years.
Our goal is to buy product made in America, or at least to not buy anything made in China (which is just about impossible). But she thought we should all go to Sam's Club together to look for one.
We did go, we found one (made in China), we bought it, brought it home, plugged it in, and it would not work. So Mr. Fun and daughter took it back.
Then Mr. Fun phoned the appliance store to learn that a quality microwave (made in Indonesia) would be difficult to obtain now because of the problems our nation is having with the supply chain; it might take several months.
Even though it was a frustrating experience, we had lots of fun with our daughter on this last day of April..
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
