2022 Monday — Time to Eat

Evening was arriving and I had not yet been to the grocery store. So preparing dinner and what that meal should be was plaguing me. I suggested that we have an early meal at Goodfellas and Mr. Fun was a thumbs-up. We sent a text inviting our daughter to join us but she had already eaten.

It was too warm out to take the pups and leave them in the car, so we got them situated comfortably in the house and we were out the door.

It wasn’t as early as I thought. We walked into the restaurant a few moments before 5:00, but the place was empty. It was quiet and lovely.

Hopefully I’ll grocery shop tomorrow. This has been a relaxing first full day back in SoCal, but certainly a bit warm. After returning from dinner, we sat on our front porch and enjoyed the sundown and the evening breeze.
