Jumping to the blossom

Saw MSK (sub-contracted by NHS) physio this morning. My frozen shoulder has not improved in the month since I last saw her so she’s recommending I have an injection directed by ultrasound, but she can’t refer me directly. I have to wait for a phone call from someone the next level up for another phone assessment and with any luck I’ll get put on the 3-6 month queue. The tiers in this hierarchy are nonsensical and must cost NHS so much.

On the way home I cheered myself up by buying some summer clothes in the cheap shop. A lovely pale blue, cream and pale lime silk top, made in Italy for £34. A pink linen dress cost the same. The styles are simple and the stitching big, so they are not well-made, but price is a worry. I hope it’s not made by Syrian refugees in a Sicilian sweatshop.

We took some plants down to #3 daughter and I walked with the children to the allotment. En route we saw these stunning flowering cherry trees.

I have Fesenjoon ready to cook when we get home. I hope I’ve got the sweet-sour balance right.
