Necessity

We did some big messy painting this morning, Bear spotted the paints and could hardly wait to play! Of course the sheer amount of mess caused by TWO happy kids meant the thought of getting them both up to the bathroom afterwards (where the bath hadn't been filled yet anyway) was too much to bear so I plonked them each in a laundry bucket with warm water afterwards, much to their delight and amusement!

While the Bean was at preschool in the afternoon the Bear begged to go outdoors so I mixed up some quick chalk paint (just cornflour, water, and food colouring) and took it outside to see if he wanted to paint some more. He was pretty tired though having not had a super long nap so we had to call it a day and went for a walk with Steve instead...
