I did a spot of turning in the morning - trying a new design for a two piece spinning top -- it didn't turn spin very well, but I think I know what the problem is so I will try again at some time.

I got a phone call from Bags - could I do a taxi run for Squirrel to go to a party (at a trampolining centre) as S.I.L. had to take The Cygnet for an eye test and she had been given a late invitation to the cinema.
That was no problem.
While I was waiting in the car while SWMBO took her in, there was not one person (other then SWMBO) either going in or coming out (and there were dozens) wearing a face mask ...... no wonder plague numbers are climbing rapidly in West Lothian.
