A Sad Sight

I did get out for a walk today, just 3.5 miles - it was overcast and there was quite a chilly wind. I was glad of my fleece!

Sadly, the sight of rubbish being dumped the countryside has become all too common…..this has appeared in the beck in the last couple of days, I spotted it while walking through the woods …. we haven’t had any significant increase in river levels in the last few weeks so this has not been washed downstream from the village….it has clearly been carried here and dropped. The metal frame from the slide was also left in the undergrowth behind where I stood to take this.
