Behind the waterfall

A glorious day and I was very glad the run with a friend had been postponed a week - it was rather miserable last Tuesday.
We met in Falkland and headed up Maspie Den, behind the waterfall and ever upwards to the top of West Lomond where we stopped to take in the extensive views.
Then down, by a less steep route, and across to East Lomond but going to the far end before ascending and getting the view in the extra of where we'd come from (the cone-shaped hill on the right). Then a very steep and rough descent, (we had to walk a bit of it but met 2 guys carrying bikes up!) before a 2+ mile exhilarating descent to the start.
Mr Rat had come with his bike and we met up again at the cafe and had an excellent lunch.
Once home I sat in the garden and finished my book before a soak in the bath, with a Zoom prayer meeting this evening
Body, mind and soul catered for today.
