Claridges

On Channel 5

I have been sleeping on and off all day. My daughter has gone to stay with friends in Limerick for a few days and it’s just me and the dogs.

I love tv programmes about fancy hotels and this is Claridges.

I told Vince if I won the lottery we will stay in Claridges. Comfy, good food, downtown, high quality nick-able free toiletries and friendly staff (apparently there is a staff member who checks the checker of clean tableware ).

Ah no Jean, Vince retorted. It couldn’t be as comfy as this old couch (bought in Bargaintown dot ie 25 years ago). In fairness, he’s not wrong there
