The Garden in Spring

Covid4

Same symptoms as yesterday but lessened by about 10%

Weather is perfect in Dublin

My blip is Pear Blossom Gargoyle Man. He is the same all year round… indifferent, stoical, observing (all good things in the cultivation of detachment )

Today to keep my mood up, I have done the following:

Listened to Mahler’s Adagietto (so beautiful and full of longing)

Read some Raymond Carver short stories (infuriatingly brilliant)

Seafood spaghetti (made by Hannah Jay) delish

Read some of John O’Donohue

"This is the time to be slow,
Lie low to the wall
Until the bitter weather passes.

Try, as best you can, not to let
The wire brush of doubt
Scrape from your heart
All sense of yourself
And your hesitant light.

If you remain generous,
Time will come good;
And you will find your feet
Again on fresh pastures of promise,
Where the air will be kind
And blushed with beginning.”

And this evening I’m gonna watch a gritty, Korean thriller ‘Memories of Murder’. This is on our homework watch list with regard to cinematography

Thank you everybody for very nice comments yesterday. It really gladdens my heart. As I have more time to browse, I realise even more how kind blippers are and what great snappers there are in this community, and also what interesting lives we lead in our different locations and situations.
