Early bluebells

As we’re away (all being well) from next Thursday we may well miss the bluebells at their best this year.

We saw these on our walk around Otham, they’re often one of the first patches to bloom.

What a gorgeous day, sunshine all day and very warm at the allotment this afternoon. Spent a good few hours getting the plot into a good shape to be left while we’re away. Planted and sowed, weeded and mowed. Covered areas not being used for a while with black plastic so it’s not knee deep in weeds when we get back. It’s looking good.
