Smashing!

3 of the duck eggs had tiny cracks when I went to bed last night so I was awake at 6am, excited to see their progress. One of them is definitely making more headway than the rest and has managed to tap a little hole in her shell. I can just see some tiny bits of downy fluff poking through as she wriggles about. Hopefully, we’ll have at least one duckling by tomorrow.
T and Janine came over tonight for our first proper Hendstock practice of the year. As usual, we spent most of the evening chatting and hardly any time singing.
