Drawings on Slate

A breezy day, chilly and cloudy, with some showers too.  Skies cleared this evening, with stunning sunshine and a flat calm night.

A morning puttering about the house, and then came on a car crash on my way to work.  Thankfully nobody was seriously hurt.  On late shift in the airport.  I was on check-in first thing, and then meeting and boarding flights the rest of the day.  Due to a delay on Aberdeen, we finished late.  Sammy has been himself tonight, and wanted a fairly big walk.  Feet up now.

On my teatime break, I headed out to see if I could see some puffins, no luck.  They have returned home for summer, but this time of year they stay out at sea feeding, until bedtime.  I did stumble across these seabird drawings on slate.  I'm assuming the lighthouse visitor centre has had some activities for the bairns over the Easter holidays, and some fantastic results.  Taken at Sumburgh Head lighthouse.
