Yorkshire

Here in the Republic of Yorkshire, we are a patriotic lot.

No, not for England, or Great Britain or the UK, but for Yorkshire.

The white rose county was messed about by boundary changes and we 'lost' bit to 'Cleveland' [Where's that at?] in 1974 and got it back for ceremonial purposes [?] in 1996, but we really still believe in The three Ridings and all the rest of it can go take a running jump.

This is the Yorkshire flag flying from a rather impressive flagpole in a neighbours back yard, just for the hell of it, since it's not 'Yorkshire Day' until August 1st!
