Horse riding and tubing

We were awake very early this morning thanks to jet lag.

We actually got to breakfast for when it opened at 6.30am!

After breakfast we checked out of the hotel and went to our first activity which was horse riding! I was a bit worried I’d fall off but I had a very good horse who behaved himself. Pauls horse on the other hand wasn’t so good and bit two other horses. His horse was called paramedic because he puts people in hospital.

After horse riding we went river tubing, I wasn’t going to do it but everyone in our group was so I thought I’d have a go! It was scary when you came to the rapids but enjoyable when it was just the lazy river. Luckily I managed to stay seated unlike paul who came out of his.

After the tubing we went for lunch and then had a 2 hours drive to our next location Arenal Volcano. The resort we are staying in is amazing and we’ve spent the rest of the day at the swim up bar followed by a lovely Italian meal!
