Rainforest trekking

Today has been a jam packed one. This morning we visited Fortuna a little town near to where we are staying. From there we went to an eco farm where they grow everything you can think of. I felt a bit like Beargrills as we went round as he asked us to try different leaves. We also got to try sugar cane juice which was lovely. After the tour we also had lunch there everything you eat is grown on the farm.

This afternoon we Visited a rainforest to look for wildlife, it was amazing. We saw monkeys, frogs, carrier ants, lots of different bird species and even a deadly snake and spider! It was so humid in there and it started raining but even the rain was hot! Todays picture is the view from the rainforest overlooking the volcano.

Once we were back at the hotel we headed straight to the pool for a couple of cocktails in the swim up thermal pool.
