Party Bags

Tomorrow is Asha's 11th birthday! We spent much of the day doing birthday prep for both her and Nate as we've got our 24-7 bosses over for the weekend (staying with Stephen) so there's not much time to get anything done!
Asha's having a sleepover with 2 school friends tomorrow, so we spray painted them each a bag and put some goodies in it...Nate obviously had to be included! This bag was pre peeling off the masking tape. They all look really lovely and we'll put them on each girls bed. 
Sad news about one of the homeless guys who's in hospital following a head injury, he's not recognising anyone and is so aggressive he's having to be tied to his bed...poor poor guy. Hoping we'll get along to visit him asap. 
Bible and tea with Stephen and Mitch tonight, as ever, a good time together. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Mom's operation going well.
2) Asha's excitement about tomorrow, Nate's too! 
3) Working with a social worker who really really cares for the homeless community...unfortunately today was her last day. We'll miss her immensely, she's become a friend!
