Nature's Jewels

A first half of the morning doing birthday prep! 2 birthdays close together feels like it should simplify things, but it complicates them really. Since Nate's been born, it's a struggle not to run out of birthday steam by the time his birthday comes along 4 days later!
A great great Skype with M& M to round off the morning. Always come off those conversations feeling inspired, challenged, uplifted.
Today was 'Sole Wave' day. She threw us by being in a different cell - she must have been moved. Sooo good to 'see' her, well, her arms anyway. Afterwards we had to go high up above the prison to go get a pic of it for next week's prayer week. One of the days will be praying about the work there, so we thought we'd attach a photo to the info to help people picture the place. I've added it into extras, the sprawling yellow building...if you need a tip!
A bit of time in the park where Nate made a friend. It's the first time I've really heard him speaking Spanish, relatively confidently. He even introduced us all to this little lad, ha!
Danny was out sorting clothes vouchers for friends on the streets and doing bits and bobs with people.
Nate kept us entertained over dinner with his flamenco/breakdancing fusion to Gypsy Kings. As soon as he heard Bamboleo come on it was like the rhythm took over his body  - so funny, and oddly impressive! It started in his shoulders and exited out of his feet.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Asha's hand healing well.
2) The kids birthday books all arriving today.
3) Seeing Sole.

4) extra grateful I've just remembered - being sent a brilliant mug by 2 friends...it has a saying from a tv series we were watching together - dinna fash Sassenach. It'll make me smile every time I look at it!
