Sit Spot
It’s been several days since I blipped. In that time I’ve had some time at the allotment catching up on grass cutting, weeding, and creating some simple benches like this one, so I have more sit spots giving me different perspectives on my plot and the area around. This ‘bench’ looks towards the high hawthorn hedge which forms the northern boundary to the site. It’s usually got interesting birds and colours to appreciate whilst resting. Today my potatoes were planted and yesterday, the onions. Feels like progress.
The afternoon has been mainly spent clearing the garage of a further two mice (two were removed a few days ago) and subsequently, the mess they created. We are now four cushions down on the outdoor furniture and a few other things. Nothing too serious but a lot of mess to clear and dispose of - a task Andy will continue tomorrow whilst I return to work.
I certainly chose a good week to have off. It’s been sunny and warm every day. I’ve achieved much this week including having time to reflect and relax.
