Lavant Railway

This week we’ve trying to make the most of the sunny weather and my time off, by doing walks in places we’ve not previously visited. Today we headed off to the old Chichester to Midhurst railway line which has been transformed into a pathway.

We started at Lavant which is roughly mid-way along the route and walked towards Chichester. Along the way there were various art works including these sculptures made from old railway parts - if you look carefully you may be able to see the face of the railway workers is made from part of the track.

A restful afternoon- I’ve been feeling pretty flaked out so far this week so am needing to rest more than usual.

Hope your day has been a good one.
