Moments

First day at work after my week off and the day after the clocks went forward. It went surprisingly smoothly.

With the lighter evenings I am able to enjoy walks after work more fully. Today this took me to the churchyard where the ground is scattered with primroses and violets in bloom. Such a cheerful and promising sight.

The lighter mornings mean I’ve also been trying to sit outside for my breakfast cup of tea - to appreciate the light, morning chorus and peacefulness of the early part of the day. Tomorrow the weather is due to become very wet so I may need to do that looking it into the garden instead.

I’m grateful this Monday has been good to me and am hoping it’s been that way for you too.
