Brunching

As always, I was feeling apprehensive about a long training run this morning but once I’d got myself out there, it was totally delightful. It was still fairly cool when I started out but a couple of hours later I was ready for a cool shower. Eleven lovely, comfortable miles in the bag. A road run, so not exactly the best training for next week’s hilly, trail half, but still good to get the miles in.

Then onto the regular brunch date with musicalblips, this time eaten outside in the glorious sun. What an absolute treat to be outside and enjoying the spring weather, with Shrewsbury bustling and busy with people. A total joy. After brunch, I had a little more time before a meeting with the bank, so we found a sunny corner outside St Alkmund’s to enjoy some more sunny warmth.

This evening was spent at the fun house (aka The Curtai) where I kind of dropped a baby.
