Date Night
Mr A decided we should eat out tonight, so we called into The Crafty Fox.
I’m sure he has hollow legs; I was well and truly stuffed after my meal but Mr A wanted dessert. He tried the churros and said they were very good.
It was nice to chill and catch up about our days.
For me, I’ve had to have words with our 17 year old trainee who rocked up to work today with a huge hickey on her neck. If that wasn’t bad enough, I then got a call from her college tutor to inform me that she’s been absent from class for the last 3 weeks.
That’s totally unacceptable, especially when she gets paid to go to college.
For Mr A, he’s had to deal with the glaziers.
He showed them the photo of what I had asked for and they’ve had to accept that’s not what we’ve got. They’ve agreed to make a new frame.
The handles have all been changed to chrome, but in doing so (Mr A suspects) they’ve scratched the back door. Photos have been sent.
We’ve agreed I will call in to their office tomorrow to reiterate exactly what we want and make sure it’s right before they order it. I also need to ask what they’re going to do about the scratch too.
Luckily, Mr A managed to get the silicone off the carpet, so that’s one less thing to worry about :-)
