Handing Off
The last lumpy remnants of ice holding out in the inlet, where the water is sheltered, made me think there was something to photograph here. But the blue and orange combination of the reflected willow tree weaving its magic in and around the ice made it for me.
Another of those images where, at first glance, it's difficult to know where to focus the eye and discern just what it is being observed.
The demise of the ice marks, in my mind anyway, the handing over of winter into spring. A couple of unusually warm days to lift the spirits.
Also posted 'Filling Up' today, to catchup for yesterday.
