Quizzical

The Kildeer are back with their whistling and skittish behaviour. I'm told they scurry along the ground enticing you to follow them away from their nesting site.They are in the plover family. It seemed to be giving me a quizzical glance.

Unfortunately, it was very dull and windy. I shot this at 1600 iso to get a faster shutter and the image is soft and noisy, so I didn't want to crop in any further. It was a chance encounter, I don't have the patience for wildlife photography.
