An improvement

At least it did not rain all day. I was able to get out for a walk to the belvedere this morning. In the afternoon, I joined the art group. This week Aline, our teacher, was there and gave me some very useful tips. Today is also the day when I have finally passed on the business so I am officially retired. They won't be repairing clocks but will continue as a watch and jewellery shop. I will no doubt keep my hand in with the clocks but only as a hobby if I am bored. I am more likely to pick up a paintbrush and canvas rather than tweezers and screwdriver.
