Cow in the woods

It was my turn to take the service. Quite a few people are away and there were only seven of us. We are now using a Celtic service, a new departure with plenty of opportunity for quiet contemplation and reflection. I managed to get out for a walk through the woods while the rain was very light. I caught up with some cricket highlights and looked through old photos hoping for inspiration for another painting but generally I have had a quiet day. It was a late night last night as a multinational group of us, Irish, Scottish, English and French, enjoyed the rugby and had a meal together. France deserved their victory and the Grand Slam. England seemed to be lacking ideas in attack but at least they showed some fight.
