Between fen and mountains

This building that I passed today on my walk is typical of local stone buildings. The original stonework is intact on some buildings but the dry stone constuction has over the years been augmented with various layers of cement plastered on. Failing that, there are always breeze blocks! Two ringers were absent this morning so we only rang five bells. We had a short PCC meeting later on and rattled through the agenda.
