Compton Verney

We had an afternoon viewing so we took off for an hour or so at Compton Verney. It has been a lovely sunny day and the heat bounced off the old stone behind the bench we sat on enjoying the good weather. The outside coffee pod was closed and we didn't feel like going inside so we left coffee until we arrived home.  

We had a nice walk round the grounds, the main photo is the reed bed by the dipping pond, the extra is the decorated colonnade by the artist Morag Myerscough, part of an installation, The Village, the abstract cube attraction has now been removed from the meadow.
