It was a pleasant morning weather-wise so we arranged to see Emma and Raffy at Top Barn this afternoon to feed the animals and have a coffee.

Unfortunately the best laid plans....and all that.  We were sitting in the car park waiting for Em to arrive when the heavens opened, and opened with an a vengeance! Suddenly there was a torrential downpour which morphed into hailstones and crashed about us.  I took this phone pic out of the side window to capture the scene.  It continued on and we had to talk to Emma via phone and WhatsApp,  finally deciding the animals could wait and we would all hightail it back to Worcester and the safety of The Hive.

Driving the short distance back was treacherous,  dry roads had suddenly become flash flood danger areas.  

Luckily it had eased by the time we parked at the local carpark and were able to walk up to The Hive for a coffee and a nice time with Raffy.
