Had a lovely birthday on a glorious spring day. Went to Newark AntiquesFair with Ju to look for galvanised metal stuff for the garden shelter and was reasonably successful. Came home via the hedging supplier to ask for advice on staking the plants. Got home to more daffodils and a sweet pea growing kit left on the doorstep from Sa. I added the daffodils to those given to me by g and c yesterday and the yellow roses from my two nephews. Loaded the car and went to the tip , then after a quick clean-up I headed over to Js as he had invited me for dinner- a first! Had a nice time chatting to him about his garden. Looking forward to spending the day working on it with him next week. Lovely presents from him too - 3 hand blown glass baubles (chosen by me) and some flowers - white ones this time though!
