Long game

The blip is of the exterior of our church to express solidarity with Ukraine.

After posting last night’s message I today listen to yesterday’s BBC Sounds Ukrainecast podcast. It included a discussion 24 minutes in with a military expert - Justin Bronk - who talked through the Russian military planning and set out the strategic objective Putin could achieve if NATO ever engaged militarily.

He could claim that his messaging had been right all along and justifying his actions; and an excuse to wriggle out of responsibility for the war and claim that any losses were due to NATO’s involvement.

The risk is he would be strengthened by this development. Worth a listen.

Despite the pain of watching the ongoing horrors perhaps we just need to keep adding decimal points?
