let's go!
I woke up this morning with the feeling that a switch had been flicked on - the sluggishness of winter had been changed to a new Spring setting..ready for cleaning, tidying and getting outdoors..it may not last, of course, perhaps just a temporary aberration. Anyway, I did a lot of odd job things around the house, made some kombucha, listed some items on eBay, went for a walk to inspect the progress of Spring in the garden..
...and suddenly it was time for Chris to go home at the end of his week's stay with us. Sarah drove him to the station and I came along for the ride. The platform was busy with young people on their way to a night out in Carlisle; lots of scanty dresses, fake tan and jollity.
After our goodbyes, Sarah, Jess and I continued on to New Abbey and went up Criffel. Twice for them, once for me, and then it was time to come home for tea :-)
